Anti-Kavanaugh Mob Chases Sen. Ted Cruz And Wife From Restaurant
A mob of people calling themselves democratic socialists, LGBT activists, anarchists, anti-fascists, and anti-racists descended upon Sen. Ted Cruz and his wife while they were out to dinner last night. They chanted “We believe survivors,” surrounded the Cruzes, blocked their exit, and screamed in their faces, show videos of the altercation. Cruz can be heard saying “Let my wife through.”
The hecklers also shouted “[Cruz’s Senate opponent] Beto is way hotter than you, dude.” After the Cruzes exited through an side door, protesters can be heard shouting “Ted Cruz and Brett Kavanaugh are best friends!” and “Cancel Kavanaugh for women’s rights!”
BREAKING. Activists just chased @TedCruz out of a fancy Washington DC restaurant, chanting “We Believe Survivors!”
Cruz has been friends with creep Kavanaugh for 20 years. Now Cruz is on judiciary committee hearing his testimony.

“This is a message to Ted Cruz, Bret Kavanaugh, Donald Trump, and the rest of the racist, sexist, transphobic, and homophobic right-wing scum,” wrote Smash Racism DC in a statement taking responsibility for the harassment. “You are not safe. We will find you. We will expose you. We will take from you the peace you have taken from so many others.”
Hey @jack and @TwitterSupport, why are you allowing an account to promote video of targeted harassment of Ted Cruz and his Wife?
That literally fits the definition of what gets banned on your platform, but you're allowing it.
That accounts needs to be banned.

The incident appears to begin with a woman walking up to the Cruzes in the restaurant, calling herself a constituent and victim of sexual assault, and demanding to know how Cruz plans to vote on Kavanaugh’s nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court. “Do you believe survivors, sir?” she demands, as her mob chants “We believe survivors” in the background.

Democrats are charging, based purely on hazy and uncorroborated claims of alcohol-fueled sexual encounters nearly 40 years ago, that Kavanaugh is a vicious pervert. Cruz sits on the Senate Judiciary Committee that is slated to receive testimony Thursday from one woman making such accusations. But her legal team has already caused the testimony to be rescheduled six times. Such testimony would put Christine Blasey Ford under oath and liable to perjury charges.
She doesn't want to testify. She doesn't intend to. https://t.co/PjjbrAJ5iu

This is a circus. The Thursday hearing should be a Judiciary Committee vote on Judge Kavanaugh. https://t.co/vfzP9oD06M

This summer, a similar crew of activists chased Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen out of a restaurant, screamed outside the private home of Trump immigration consultant Lora Ries, and blockaded Immigrations and Customs Enforcement employees from going home from work in Portland.
Protesters from the left-wing rape smear organization UltraViolet Action also gathered Monday outside Cruz’s Austin office for a protest against his potential vote for Kavanaugh.
Media ethics: Comfort the afflicted. Afflict the comfortable.
[Ted Cruz, a public servant, gets shouted out of an expensive restaurant for ruining lives]
Media: WOW THAT POOR GUY! How could you do this to a sweet man having dinner?!

The tolerant left just drove Ted Cruz out of a restaurant with protestors
The tolerant left also assaulted Rand Paul while he was mowing his lawn, shot and almost killed Steve Scalise, drove @RealCandaceO & I out of a restaurant, sent fake Anthrax to @DonaldJTrumpJr and his kids

I just realized that the left is celebrating how Ted Cruz got kicked out of a restaurant in DC by radical leftist white people
Say that again but slowly
Why? Because if conservatives did the same thing to a Hispanic leftist, it’s “racism”

Cruz appears to have been particularly targeted as the recipient of bad-faith smear attacks. Recently, he was publicly screamed at by a mother whose child died in a school shooting. She accused him of being responsible for her child’s death at the hands of a deranged teen.
Yes, that’s right. A political ad featuring both her accusation and Cruz Senate opponent Beto O’Rourke blames Cruz, not the actual murderer, for children shot in Santa Fe school this spring. It was “on Cruz’s watch,” you see. We shouldn’t just punish the actual evildoers, we should punish everyone else, too. And tragedies would never happen if everyone just agreed with the left’s political agenda.
Daily reminder Ted Cruz is a feckless little coward who sold out his constituents pic.twitter.com/sW39z9nJE2

O’Rourke elevated these smears by giving the grieving mother his platform to air her intellectually untethered and morally reprehensible charges against Cruz.
In May, @KimsMom3‘s daughter Kimberly was shot and killed inside her high school in Santa Fe, Texas. @TedCruz won’t return her calls or buck the @NRA, but @BetoORourke brought Rhonda onstage tonight at his rally in Galveston and let her be HEARD. @momsdemand #TXSenate pic.twitter.com/LwiLXD6uQ0

As Charlie Kirk pointed out above, these tactics are not only limited to high-profile politicians like Cruz. They are employed on regular people who happen to do something leftist mobs don’t like. At the very least, they should all be hauled into court on harassment charges. The elected officials who don’t full-throatedly decry these tactics should also be punished at the ballot box, and asked “Why not?” from the media.
Instead, of course, the media seems to be part of the problem.
I feel like the media harassing private citizens inadvertently caught up in news stories is a bit of a problem. pic.twitter.com/fK5vW3hagg
