“Multiple deputies down:” Police respond to calls of an officer down in city near Denver

DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo — Multiple deputies in Douglas County, Colorado are down following an “officer down” call in a city near Denver Sunday, December 31st.

According to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office, they are working on an officer down call.

UPDATE, we have multiple deputies down, no update on their status. The scene remains active and please avoid the area.

DCSO is working an officer down call in the area of County Line Rd between Colorado Blvd and University Blvd. This is an active event, please avoid the area.

According to KDVR in Denver, deputies issued a “code red” for any citizens in the affected area are instructed to shelter in place, avoid windows and stay away from exterior walls.
